An early collaboration of Mystified and Saluki Regicide has been remixed into a long-form ambient soundscape.
About the album:
Mystified and Saluki Regicide began a series of collaborations in 2004 which continue to this day.
Razor Pilgrimage was the second such work, close on the heels of
Ancestral Technologies.
Mystified recently revisited Razor Pilgrimage and decided to challenge C.P. McDill (Saluki Regicide) to give the work a makeover, remixing it in any way he saw fit to. The resulting approach was to examine the earlier compositional techniques of the
Rain series, and approach it as an album composed in that spirit. While this album has more rhythmic energy that the typical Rain, the title nonetheless alludes to that venerable staple of the Webbed Hand catalog.

Tremelulously Wonderful...
Swirling pulsing with the grit kept carefully controlled. Signature hypnotic repetions.Tremel : funnel-shaped receptacle; contents pass by gravity into a receptacle below. This sound art recording is the tremel, I am the receptacle and the contents are the poetry, where poetry is the listener engaged in the artistic construct, poetry as an emotive/deep-psychological experience. Or sumpin lyke thet.
